Step 1. Visit www.Medi-cal.ca.gov.
Step 2. Check and see if you or your children are eligible for the current health care programs that are listed on the website. If yes, print out a Medi-Cal form, fill it up with the necessary information and mail it to the address provided.
Step 3. Constantly visit the website to check the status of your application. A receipt will be given within 7 business days to confirm receipt of health care application, it may take up to 20 days after the receipt is sent out to determine the application status.
Step 4. If approved, you may register for an online account at the Medi-Cal Online Service portal or set up recurring payments via a credit card.
